How does kimberly die in final destination

In their effort to escape, Mr. Burke and Ms. Corman ran out the back door, where a large industrial woodchipper was being serviced for a malfunctioning safety guard. Subsequent details are unclear, but apparently Ms.

Corman's coat got tangled in the woodchipper's spinning blades, and when Mr. Burke tried to save her, they both fell into the machine. Norman Goldstein, owner of the hardware store. Corman were the last survivors of the highway pileup on Route 23 five years ago.

Several people were prevented from going on the highway by Ms. Corman, who allegedly experienced a premonition that the crash was about to occur. Soon after, however, each of the survivors was killed in a series of odd accidents.

This fueled speculation by some that dark forces were at work to make sure they died. While both Mr. Corman were exonerated of any involvement in the deaths, the stigma impacted them severely.

Burke was reduced to a desk job in the sheriff's department while Ms. Corman dropped out of school to pursue "other interests. Corman seem to ensure that it will be discussed for years to come. The camaro that rolled into the front of the store used to be owned by Mr. Evan Lewis, one of the other survivors from the Route 23 pileup who had been killed outside his apartment. The woodchipper belonged to Mr. Peter Gibbons, who owns the farm where several of the other survivors of the Route 23 Pileup perished in a strange car accident.

He is also the father of Brian Gibbons, at whose odd death both Mr. Corman were present. Finally, the attending physician who signed the death certificate was Dr. Ellen Kalarjian, who delivered a baby whose mother was near, but not involved with, the Route Pileup.

Corman's father Michael Corman released a statement which stated "My daughter lived a full life, and in death has hopefully escaped whatever it is that haunted her.

The scene that reveals their deaths is only featured as an optional part of the Choose Their Fates special feature on the "Thrill Ride DVD Edition" of Final Destination 3 , that allows the viewer to choose between variations of scenes playing out, which can result in a substantially different viewing experience.

It was not featured in the theatrical cut of the film and is generally considered to be non-canonical, though producer Craig Perry has said that the scene 'can be canon'. History Talk While most horror franchises incur a high bodycount, very few feature a movie where everyone dies.

The Final Destination series has had a couple of entries like this, and even if a character survives one movie they tend to get killed in the sequel. Alex Devon Sawa , Clear Ali Larter and Carter Kerr Smith seemingly make it to the end of the original movie, only for Carter to get killed offscreen by a swinging sign in the last scene.

While the original plan for Final Destination 2 featured the return of both Clear and Alex, Sawa declined to return, so the latter was unceremoniously killed between movies by a falling brink; sadly, Clear herself is later killed in a hospital explosion.

Final Destination 3 ended with Mary Elisabeth Winstead's Wendy having another gruesome premonition that the train she's on will crash and she will die alongside her sister and fellow survivor Kevin; the movie ends as they try to stop the train, but crashing sounds suggest they didn't make it.

The Final Destination ends with survivors Nick, Janet and Lori celebrating successfully cheating death - only for Nick to realize everything up to that point had really led them to that particular cafe. His realization comes a little late as a truck swerves into the building and promptly crushes the three of them to death.

Question : It never shows the clues to Kat, Rory, or Eugine and Clear's deaths, can someone please tell me what they are?

The trophy's shadow is segmented, giving it a divided look, Rory ends up divided to pieces by the barbed fence. As for Clear, Bludworth hints at it with his comment "such fire you have now". Question : If all the characters in the two movies die in similar ways, how are the first two deaths related?

The strangling and the eye impaling. Answer: The deaths aren't related. What is meant by the fact that the characters in the 2 films dying in similar ways, means that all of them have an accident that should have killed them, but they survived. However death catches up with and eventually they all die, just like in the first film. That is the connection between the two films. Question : Terry Chaney from the first final destination got "splattered" by a bus, her initials are T.

Did the screenwriters do that on purpose or did that just a coincidence? Answer: It was a coincidence, Since it would have to be the same for all of the other individuals on deaths list. But, if you watch both movies, the first person who dies in Final Destinations dies in a similair manner as the first person on deaths list in Final Destinations 2. It is like this for every other person, too.

Question : One trivia entry says "Look at the title Final Destination 2. Wouldn't that be kind of an oxymoron. Answer: If it's the "final" destination, then it is, by definition, the last one, so you couldn't have a second one after that. Question : How did Thomas and Kimberly die? Chosen answer: In the alternate ending of Final Destination 3 , a newspaper blows by, revealing Kimberly and Burke ran into each other at a hardware store and a Camaro belonging to Evan ran through the store, knocking them into a nearby woodchipper.

Kimberly's coat was tangled and was snatched into the machine. Burke attempted to save her, and both were dismembered. How come Thomas didn't die first in the sequence of death? He was the first to be killed in the car wreck? Death was working in reverse order. The last person to die in the premonition was the first person to die in the real world.

Question : Would it be safe to say that Death used the police officer to aid in Nora's death in the elevator? If he would not have called her and startled her, causing her to drop her phone, her hair would not have gotten caught on the old man's hook, and she would not have panicked.

She would have casually walked out of the elevator. But there could have been another accident that would have caused Nora's hair to get caught in the hooks. Other then assuming that, Burke was part of death's plan to kill Nora. Question : During the film Eugene grabs a gun and tries to Kill himself, this did not work as explained in the film it was not his time to die, So how could Kimberley kill herself as it was not her turn to die, due to the fact the officer saved her at the beginning putting her at the back of the queue to die, so the officer would need to die first for Kimberley to kill herself.

Is this an oversight in the film or did I miss something? Answer: Given that Death not only lets Kimberly die but actively helps her by stopping the cop from getting to her in time , my best guess is that when Kimberly pulled him to the ground a few seconds earlier to avoid the gurney flying from the explosion, it was counted as her saving him and thus made him skip to the back of the queue.

Question : Why exactly is death working backwards in this movie? I don't really understand it. Answer: Death is trying to erase the mistake "he" made.

It's like knitting or something, if you make a mistake you have to start at the end and unwind the threads untill the mistake has gone. That is why death is working backwards, to tie up the loose ends. Question : Eugene says that he was "saved" from transferring to another school because a student had come to school with a knife to kill his teacher, which would've been him if he hadn't transferred at all.

This is obviously a reference to Alex when Billy had thought that he killed Mrs. Lewton with a knife, but not only was Alex innocent, her death happened at her own home. Since all of the other stories consist of everyone being somewhere at the exact same time when the original group died, this really doesn't make much sense at all.

Am I missing something or did I hear Eugene wrong?
